Do you guys have any idea what it might be?

I’ve had a vertical lip piercing for about 3 months now. Today I noticed this HUGE bump right next to the top hole. It feels really hard. As soon as I saw it, I bit off a small bit and it bled a little. Do you guys have any idea what it might be? I have a feeling it might either be a canker sore or excess scar tissue

It does look like it might’ve been some ulceration (like a canker sore), but to be honest, it’s hard to tell at this point - it just looks like a bloody sore where you chomped it! Be nice to it and treat it like it’s new for awhile and it should settle down. Good luck!
