Hey, I read somewhere that a rook piercing should never be pierced at 14g, only 16g. Is this true? And is 16g a better gauge for a rook then 14g? If so, how? Thank you for your time :)


That’s more personal preference rather than rule. If a rook is large enough then 14g would be fine. I almost always do mine at 16g, but only because nobody ever asks for larger.
