Why is it perferably better to have labret piercings at a 14g rather than a 16g?
It isn’t, but it’s slightly easier to find initial labret jewelry in 14g. I use both 14g and 16g for initial lip piercings in my studio. It’s really a matter of preference. I tend to use the 14g for more male piercings, and 16g for more females. But there is no requirement for one over the other.
