Off topic, just a random jeer to people who think it’s okay to copy someone elses tattoo (the current poll). Is nothing sacred?!?!?!?

This is the Hogwarts Crest from Harry Potter. I found it on Google so I dont know exacly who drew it but since it has to do with Harry Potter would I have to ask for permission before I got it tattood on me?

im going to be getting both calves skinned. the only question is there any real risk of stretching of the cuts due to muscle growth. and can i still use the treadmill and other cardio machines while the cuts heal or would they become distorted
What do you mean by skinned? Do you mean flesh removal of your entire calves? If so I wouldn’t worry about the scar stretching, I’d worry about picking which hospital you’ll be staying in after. Flesh removal sections should never be wider that 1 - 2 inches wide, and ever that is pushing it unless you have extremely shallow removal depth.
If you’re just talking about smaller removal scarification I wouldn’t think stretching would be a factor unless it completely wrapped around your leg. And even then it wouldn’t be a big deal.

okay, so my monroe is officially a month and 7 days old. it’s doing great, no infection, nothing. the healing is amazing on the outside. if i take the stud out to clean it, there is a freckle sized hole [ i got pierced at 14g ]. I’m really happy with it, except for a small bump that is kinda growing over the flatback. care to explain what this is and how i can get it to go away?
If it was an allergic reaction you’d probably have some kind of visible symptom on the outside as well. So I would guess it’s just from irritation from plaque building on the disc, just like it does on teeth. Brush it off every now and then and it should clear up.

Hello. I was wondering whether or not wearing acrylic for a prolonged period of time is harmful? I read that it is, and i also read that it is’nt an issue please help. Thank you
It depends on the type and condition of the piercing. Acrylic might not agitate something like a healed earlobe piercing, but more sensitive tissue might develop allergic reactions to acrylic. I’ve worn a 2g acrylic cbr in my navel for a few years without any problems, but if I try to wear acrylic in my healed cartilage piercings they flare up and get itchy. Acrylic is one of the cheapest materials used in body jewelry, so buyer beware.

just a question im thinking of getting an eyebrow peircing and im just doing some reason. ive heard some rumours that there is a nerve near the eyebrow and if you hit that nerve while ur peircing it can make one side of your face loose its nerve and collapse is this true?
and what are the chances of hitting that nerve?

There are nerves all over the body, but if someone were trying to damage one they’d have to do alot more than stick a tiny needle through the surface skin of your eyebrow. If you’re going to a professional you wouldn’t have anything to worry about. Just avoid any discount places that offer to do it with a steak knife.

I want to get my earlobes stretched. I’m trying to go from a regular ear piercing to a 2ga.
I heard you’re suppose to stretch you ears slowly but I called this piercing place and they said that they can stretch it up to a 2ga right away. Is this safe?
That would be a resounding NO, not at all safe. You can dermal punch or scalpel straight to a 2g, but not stretch. You let someone do that and your earlobe will be torn asunder. If you’re wearing something small like a regular earring you could probably get away with going straight to a 14g. But after that the general rule is one gauge size every 6-8 weeks maximum.

Hey Ryan!
What would you say is the right length for initial jewellry for a side labret? I took my sister’s girlf to get her lip pierced and they put a bar in that I think was way too short but they thought was fine. They put a 10mm long bar in even though she told them she swells a lot with piercings, an hour later we went back because I wasn’t happy with it and they said they couldn’t do anything because they didn’t have anything longer. I thought it was out of order to pierce with something that wasn’t fit for the job just because they didn’t have anything else! I’m considering complaining because she was in so much pain she had to remove it two days later but I’d just like a second opinion so I don’t go and make an ass of myself lol.

It entirely depends on the thickness of the lip. I typically use either 5/16″ (10mm) or 3/8″ (12mm). I almost never need longer or shorter. But it varies with each client.

hey i just recently ripped my earlobe on the right side of 32mm i was wondering if i gotplastic surgery will i be able to stretch my ears again??
It depends on if you have scarring. Scar tissue will impede stretching, but not stop it altogether.

Hey, I read somewhere that a rook piercing should never be pierced at 14g, only 16g. Is this true? And is 16g a better gauge for a rook then 14g? If so, how? Thank you for your time 
That’s more personal preference rather than rule. If a rook is large enough then 14g would be fine. I almost always do mine at 16g, but only because nobody ever asks for larger.
