Not if you’re allergic to adhesive.
Yes, thank you, Captain Obvious - if one is allergic to adhesive (which one would have undoubtedly figured out already from band-aids, tape, etc), then obviously, don’t tape a piece of jewellery to yourself to ascertain sensitivity. If, however, you’re part of the vast, teeming majority of people on Earth who are NOT allergic to adhesive, then this plan should be fine. Duh.
