How permanent is lip stretching, and what size does it become irreversible without surgery?
There is no stock answer for this given the amount of data available.

A better question that is along the same path but maybe better answered. Is the defined point of no return the same for lips as it is for lobes, or is it more likely or less likely to close (yes everyone is different but there must be some guideline.) I forexample had a 6ga labret for a few months and was getting sick of the smell of the stretched piercing, i took it out for 6 hours tops and had difficulty reinserting a 14ga labret stud.
