i want to get my septum pierced

ive made the appointment

but i need to be sure of something can i hide it

so it is completely invisable?

(hiding from parents)

and what bar would be the best for this?

Septum Retainers are what you’re looking for.

They come in various types of materials: Steel, Titanium, Quartz Glass, Niobium.

When inserted into the septum you flip the jewelry up and leave it there and it appears as if you’re not even pierced.

That is the ideal jewelry for what you’re looking to achieve, hiding the septum piercing, etc.

Hope this helps :)

  1. I had my septum pierced for nine months before my parents were notified… thats quite something, considering that I live at home! Although septum retainers do a dynamite job at hiding the jewelry, i made out quite well with just normal rings in black, instead of the shiny silver.

  2. I, too, had my septum pierced and successfully lived with my parents for 2 years before they found out. Mind you, my mom is a good 9 inches shorter than I, and she never noticed my black niobium retainer hiding in my nostrils. It took a trip to the oral surgeon and a loud mouthed x-ray tech for my mom to find out :-P
