i’ve seen alot of scrotum piercings but is it possible to pierce through the testes and have it heal?
It’s possible but not likely. The odds would be stacked towards it not healing, with a side order of potential complications. Best to stick with the scrotum itself.

I am looking for a place in New York City or close to NYC that offers eyeball tattooing. Does anybody have an idea?
Thanks!
While this will likely not be the case for long, the only practitioner I know of doing eyeball tattooing is Howie from LunaCobra. He gets to NYC from time to time.
This procedure however is highly experimental and comes with documented risks as well as theoretical risks that even the artist can’t totally prepare you for. Please realize that you could have serious complications- up to and including loss of vision- from getting your eyeball tattooed.

I got my nipples pierced about 2 months ago, 14g with Tygon. They’ve been doing fine for the most part– a little sore, and a lot of crusties, but other than that, they’ve been ok. But for the past few days, they’ve been really really sore and there have been more crusties than usual. Also, they smell really really bad and I’ve been doing a pretty good job cleaning and caring for them, so I don’t know where the smell is coming from. I moved the bars to the sides to clean the piercing and the bars kind of stuck to my skin and there was a pretty sharp pain. There’s a shooting pain going through the piercings right now and I’m not really sure what to do.
I guess my biggest question(s) are:
1. Is this normal for nipple piercings?
2. Does this have something to do with the Tygon? (since I guess Tygon is slightly controversial from what I’ve heard from different piercers)
Any help would be wonderful and greatly appreciated!! : )
I don’t think it’s normal to use tygon in nipple piercings, personally. After a month or two, the tygon must be switched out as your body begins to break it down causing (surprise!) crusties and weepy piercings, soreness, tissue adhering to the barbells themselves and a stench on them like grim death.
First off, see a piercer who is carrying implant grade barbells and have them fit you for a new (permanent!) set for your nipple piercings.
Secondly, stop moving the barbells to the side when your clean the piercing! Once you get some good jewelry in there you should see a huge decrease in discharge from the piercings.
Rinse any crusties off in running water and gently hold a clean cloth drenched in hot water on them for five minutes at a time. Some people like to do a little saline rinse which can help as well.
Don’t fuss over them too too much.

My lips have been extremely chapped and dry ever since I got my lip piercing done four days ago. There are small sores around my lips and it looks a lot like herpes, but I’ve never had that before. It’s not a vertical labret, it’s done with a titanium hoop by a professional piercer. Do you guys have any idea what it can be?
The chapped lips could be a result of the swelling coming down a bit. You’re probably being a bit more careful with how your lip moves, you’re not licking them as much, you may not be drinking as much water as you should be.
It’s alright to use a non-goopy/non-glossy chapstick on your lips to make them more comfortable. Mind you don’t get any on the jewelry or around the piercing itself.
As far as the sores go, it could very well be cold sores. Stress to the body such as piercing can trigger flare ups in those who are prone to them. Check with your doctor to be certain~
Could also be that you’re allergic to whatever metal the jewelry is made of.

I’ve heard all these amazing stories about people having successful Dermal cheek anchors, and how much they love them, so now Im dertermined to get them
(i was looking into it and thought just about the piercing then discovered the dermal anchoring)
My question is rather simple:
roughly how much would said anchor cost? I’m looking to get both cheeks done, so I’m searching for a ball-park estimate here.
I just want to know how much im going to need to not spend to get them done!
I’ve actually not seen as many successful surface anchor “cheek piercings” thank I have failed ones. I’d be sure to do some more research before you go ahead and have them done. Cheeks are a pretty high movement, high impact area. Surface anchors need to sit nice and still to heal up nicely.
As far as price goes, this is definitely the wrong forum to ask.
My best advice is to pick up a phone book, call around, ask if the piercing DOES surface anchors and if they’re using implant grade jewelry, if their spore test is up to date and if they have a portfolio of healed pictures of surface anchors they’ve done already.
If they have that - spend the money.

I just had a horizontal eyebrow piercing 2 days ago with a curved flexi barbell. My question is that during the initial piercing I only had a small drop of blood and since have not had any discharge at all. I only have a small bit of swelling that isn’t really noticeable unless you know to look for it. I’ve soaked and cleaned it but, my concern is since I have had no discharge should I be looking for a future problem or is this normal?
It’s great that you’re not having any discharge (and you really shouldn’t be after only a couple days) However, with whatever the “flexi barbell” is made of, you can probably look forward to some crusties in the near future and possibly the rejection of the jewelry entirely.
Wearing implant grade jewelry is imperative. I think that the flexi-barbell will cause you more harm than good eventually.

I got my cleavage pierced 2 and a half days ago, Iv been looking after it correctly..but I noticed today that the bar can be seem slightly through my skin , just like a slight grey shadow. Its not too red and the entry and exit holes of the bar are okay just a little sore, not inflamed..I was wondering if the piercing is beginning to migrate ?
If after two days you can already see the colour of the metal of the bar under your skin, you should probably see a piercer and have the jewelry removed… By the sounds of it, it’s on it’s way out.

Quick question about stretched earlobes:
Does the hole continue to get larger and larger with time? (yknow, due to gravity and age and all). If this is true, how long would you suggest til one start considering gradually wearing bigger jewelry? Is this common?
I stretched my ears probably about 1 or 2 years ago to about a 9/16″, and have been wearing quartz/natural stone plugs since. They seem to be getting loose, and sometimes they slide out while I’m just here infront of the computer.
What you’re describing is the actual correct way to stretch your earlobes. Slowly, gradually and with no force.
The tissue WILL relax over time and allow for the next size jewelry to slip in with no trauma. This is the reason some people choose to use PTFE tape to help bridge the gap between sizes!

I have had an apadravya for about 3 months and it was done at 12 or 14 guage and i want it stretched to either 10 or 8. I was wondering which is more suggested 10 or 8 and is there a piercer in the St. Paul MN area that will do this?
Apadravya piercings can sometimes be a bit of a difficult stretch. The bottom of the piercing often stretches easy, but the part of the piercing that passes through the head often makes for a tough/uncomfortable stretch. While you may be able to stretch several sizes at once, it is typically best to stretch just one size at a time. So, you may need to stretch the piercing several times to get to your final goal.
Also, depending upon how well the piercing is healing, 3 months might be a little to soon to stretch the piercing.
I’m not sure about St. Paul, but I work at Saint Sabrina’s in Minneapolis and that is definitely something we could help with.

i dont have a “sweet spot” in my nose for a septum piercing so i wanted to know if i could still get it pierced and if so does that mean they pierce the cartilage and can i still stretch my septum if i dont have a sweet spot
It is possible to do a septum piecing even if you don’t have a “sweet spot”. The piecing will have to go through cartilage. This will typically result in a slightly more painful piercing to get done as well as a piercing that may take a bit longer to heal and may be a bit more sore while healing.
Stretching the piercings SHOULD still be possible. However, you will probably find it more (perhaps significantly more) painful to stretch, you will probably have to wait longer between stretches and you may be limited as to how bit you can stretch.
