Tongue Piercing and singing

Hi I have a few ?’s about tongue piercings. I am a singer but I really want my tongue pierced but I wanna make sure that if I do go get my tongue piercing that there is nothing that could go wrong that could ruin my voice in any way. I know for a while im going to have a lisp but if I take it out I wanna make sure that things should go back to norma! Thanks much Tim

As long as your tongue is pierced in the correct placement on your tongue and the jewelry you’re wearing is the right size, you shouldn’t have any problem singing.
I’ve had three tongue piercings at one time (I currently just wear two) and I’ve been singing with no problem every day!
