I was thinking about getting a VCH and I was wondering if it might be right for me. I am a plus sized woman and want to know if my size would pose a problem. Also how do i know if my hood is the right size for a VCH? Thank you
Some questions are best answered by the person you plan to get pierced by.
There are a lot of plus sized women with hood piercings. Some no doubt have had issues, others love theirs and have no problems. Will it suit your particular anatomy? It’s impossible to say… so go in and get checked out. Good luck!

Hey girl… Just wanted to let you know I’m a plus sized gal and have had my VCH done for almost a year now. Your size should pose no problem, and no piercer should say anything because of it! =) Hope this helps.. If you want to know more, you can email me kaykdowning05@yahoo.com !
mary k. on February 11th, 2009 at 9:35 pmAnother plus sized female here! I have had my VCH for about 8 years now and no problem whatsoever. The orientation of the jewelry keeps it from having the same problems you might with the horizontal version or something like a triangle. I say go for it!
