Deep hood vs Triangle?

I was considering getting a triangle piercing sometime in the near future, but have since discovered that there is a difference between a deep hood piercing and the triangle.
My piercer has determined that I am able to get a triangle piercing, but I didn’t ask about a deep hood because I wasn’t aware of a placement difference. Are people who are eligible for triangles usually also eligible for deep hood piercings? How are the types of stimulation they offer different, and which do you think would offer the most stimulation from behind the shaft as well as with potential for stimulation from the front (or would I be better off also getting a VCH?)?
In terms of piercing technique, is this better done with or without forceps, as long as the piercer can get a good grip on the tissues?
Thanks!
A triangle piercing is placed horizontally under the clitoral shaft. A hood piercing sits above it through the hood.
When you’re saying “deep hood” I’m presuming you mean a vertical hood piercing?
Everyone’s anatomy is going to be different. Many ladies simply don’t have the right anatomy for a triangle piercing, but do for a hood piercing, etc.
With a triangle piercing, it’s a likely possibility that you could have a hood piercing as well and wear them both.
As far as piercing technique, that’s going to depend greatly on your piercer and their personal preferance. As far as a mechanical vs freehand technique, neither is going to be “better” so long as your piercer knows what they’re doing.

What is the big difference?
RioTDoll on October 20th, 2009 at 12:49 pmLooks like the bmewiki answered your question for you.
“It’s very similar to a triangle piercing, but with a deeper (”higher”, toward the pubic mound) placement. Rather than sitting right below the glans of the clitoris, it sits under the glans and/or shaft itself.”
Dimruthien on October 21st, 2009 at 8:54 pmI’ve also wondered the same thing for a long time, nobody has ever been able to give me a clear answer. The BME wiki describes the anatomical/procedural differences between the piercings, but I’ve never heard any subjective comparison between the two - perhaps because few people would have had both in their lifetime?
