I’m looking to get a PA at a large initial gauge (probably a 2), and I’m curious if there are any tried-and-true techniques for peeing standing up with a large hole, or if it’s just a trial by fire thing.
I definitely want the piercing, don’t get me wrong, but if I were able to have it while retaining the ability to stand, that would be nice.
Thanks!
Just lean into the urinal a bit further, or twist your penis in your hand so the bottom/frenum/jewellery side is on top - I have it on good authority that this doesn’t hurt, although it certainly seems like it would be painful to me, a female, ha ha! If the jewellery is on top, there’s nothing for the urine to “run down” from the urethra, which is what causes the splattering. Wearing jewellery like a curved/banana barbell rather than a ring or circular barbell can help with that, too.
And on behalf of everyone else who uses the toilet after you, if you make a mess anyway, please clean it up.
Comments, large-gauge PA wearers?

Do you think that large gauge genital piercings (amp or app) should be done by scalpelling or have you used a dermal punch? I mean 3mm jewelry or sizes in that range. There was once a school of thought that scalpelling healed faster than smaller gauge and stretching.
I’m very familiar with dermal punches but I have never used one for an amp.
If this wasn’t BME I’d say “who want’s less penis tissue?”, but this is BME and there are plenty of people here who would or have happily chopped off the whole package. But I digress, there is NO advantage to using a dermal punch and the risk of damaging the corpus cavernosum is greatly increased. For a large gauge piercing a scalpel is ideal as it neither removes tissue (like a punch) or damages tissue outside of the center line (like a needle). However, at 3mm a needle is just fine.

Hi, I presently have a 4 guage PA and my goal is to stretch to 00 gauge. Is scapelling a viable option? Thank you very much.
That certainly is an option. However, PA’s stretch easily as is. If yours is stuck, perhaps try a heavier piece of jewelry or more “activity”, either of these should easily get you to 2 ga and 00 is just two steps away. If you do decide to scalpel realize that it will stretch easier afterwords, so you may end up with a larger piercing than you desire.

My boyfriend got an apyvadra several months ago. Twice since then, when having vigorous sex, my vagina has started bleeding. Is this because of the jewelry, and is this a normal problem? Are there certain positions we should avoid? He has already had his barbell downsized from what it was pierced at, so it fits snugly.
This sort of thing is definitely not unheard of with some genital piercings. I have had a few partners who have experienced the same thing from my apadravya. There isn’t an instant fix, as it will depend upon exactly what is causing the bleeding. A few things that your your boyfriend could try:
1) Putting smaller balls on the barbell; they may be less likely to rub…although
2) Putting larger balls on the barbell; it may not be so much the rubbing, but that smaller balls have a smaller surface area, so any rubbing puts more pressure/irritation on the area where the balls rub
3) Try shortening the bar even more; because of the squishy nature of the tissue, apadravyas can often be shortened much more than people think
The other obvious, albeit not as enjoyable, option would be to avoid vigorous sex. So, I’d try one of those other options first.
