I’ve been interested in getting my tongue split for some time now, but I’ve recently had to deal with the backlash of “alternative” appearances in “polite” society so I was concerned about the visibility of a split tongue. Is this something that would be easily visible to people I’m speaking to, or is it fairly hidden? Thank you for any help you may provide, totally give me an adress and I’ll send baked treats of your choosing. For realz!
This is really hard to answer. I have friends that have it done and everytime they talk, i can see that it’s split; and I have others that you can’t see at all. But, if i didn’t know about split tongues, like the majority of people, i would probably never notice.
It’s kind of like a tongue piercing, some people who have them are very noticable, and others you can’t tell at all.

What’s the best way to get a gentian violet stain off of a linoleum floor?
Magic Eraser by Mr. Clean works wonders.

Do you consider it acceptable to smoke in a tattoo shop?
Not at all, and as one of those really annoyingly self-righteous ex-smokers, I really don’t find it appropriate to smoke indoors, anywhere.
But it’s definitely not appropriate in a piercing or tattoo studio!

What if one of her parents went with her and gave consent?
Parental consent doesn’t remove the fact that tattooing a 15 year old is illegal.

Do you think it is appropriate for a tattoo studio to let an 18 year old girl apprentice there because this may sound judgemental but what does some 18 year old girl know about tattoos period ?
Don’t discriminate over age. If she has the artistic talent she will learn the rest as she goes. I started piercing when I was 16, and most of the tattoo artists I work with all got started before they hit 21. There are some 35 year old tattoo artists who still have no fucking clue about tattooing.

Would a reputable studio allow the tattooing a 15 year old in the state of Florida? Just wondering, since one of my classmates was tattooed recently and she just turned 15 a couple of months ago.
Nope, as far as I know that would be illegal.

Hey, I read somewhere that a rook piercing should never be pierced at 14g, only 16g. Is this true? And is 16g a better gauge for a rook then 14g? If so, how? Thank you for your time
That’s more personal preference rather than rule. If a rook is large enough then 14g would be fine. I almost always do mine at 16g, but only because nobody ever asks for larger.

Will I need to completely remove my top/bra to get a surface piercing on my sternum?
Out of the numerous cleavage surface piercings I’ve done I’d say maybe 25% have to remove their shirt, and maybe only 10% have to remove their bra. Just wear a low cut top, as long as the piercing isn’t very very low you should be fine keeping your top on.

Scalpelling may be an option. Consult with an experienced practitioner.

I’ve started a little research on suspension, but nothing i’ve found is telling me how long an average suspension will last???
I’ve seen 2 seconds to 2+ hours.
