So I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a studio in Toronto that does really good custom jewellery. My request is actually quite simple, a 14g ss nostril screw at the right length, but these are actually hard to find. I also find the online stores that have done them for me can never get it just right, so I would prefer to talk to a real person.

Any help is appretiated…

You can search studios via 411.BMEzine.com

To make it simple for you here’s the search you’re looking for: http://411.bmezine.com/studios/regional/north-america/canada/ontario

Personally if you came to me, and I was back working in Toronto, I’d be getting in touch with Anatometal or Infinite Body to obtain what you are looking for.

One question though are you looking for an actual Nostril Screw in 14ga or would you like a Labret Stud instead? Personally when I had my nostrils pierced I used 14ga Neometal Threadless Labrets. I found the labret stud worked best as there was no need to bend the jewelry at all, all I needed to do is measure the width and that’s it. Hence why I personally switched over to using labret studs almost exclusively when I was working in Niagara Falls. That way nobody had to really worry about the inner portion hanging out or not being bent properly, etc.

hey i was wondering is there usually a weight limit on suspensions or will they just add more hooks? i would like to try a suicide suspension but am on the heavy side… what would be an ideal weight for a male to get suspended i weigh 260 and want to loose weight just to be suspended thanks for your time

A proper suspension crew will take your weight and figure out how many hooks will be required, etc. 260lbs is a easily do-able weight size to suspend. Heck most weights are easy to suspend, so long as you go to the right crew.

Lose the weight because you want to, do not have any notions that you need to in order to suspend. But hey sometimes people use these types of things as reasons to lose weight, etc. So if you want you can always overlook what I said and just keep thinking you need to lose weight in order to suspend. Whatever helps you to be a happy and healthy soul, that’s all I care about.

Hello everyone!

I had been rejected by a piercer couple days ago because i wanted a 10 gauge CBR PA piercing but i am uncut. Well, since i am from Europe… let me just say: International hot dog comes with bun! Anyway… He told me max. 6 month and the piercing will migrate out pushed forward way constantly by the foreskin. If the foreskin could been very loose - he said - may be… But this is one in a thousand…

I made a research but i found few uncut PA stories but not a single experience about migration or rejection. So now what?! Was the piercer just way too cautious or what he said is the fact?

Thanks for the answers!

tengeresz

I’m uncircumcised and had a PA for years- pierced at 10g eventually stopping at 1/2″.
I’ve seen rejection with uncut/PA, but I’d say that’s more of a 1/1000.

I’m not familiar with “clear moles”, but it is best to leave moles well-enough alone. No piercing through them. The piercing would likely heal fine, but you will increase the chances of something that is probably fairly benign becoming problematic. The piercing should be able to be done near the mole…just not through it.

You could place a band-aid or medical tape over the other end of the bar to keep it from sliding out while you sleep or go about your day. This method actually works really well for lots of piercings if you lose a ball off of one end.

Yes, eyebrow piercings can be done with CBR’s initially. However, the CBR is going to stick up/out more, from the side of your head. Therefore it will get knocked/bumped/snagged more often and will typically take longer (and be harder) to heal than a curved barbell. Once the piercing is healed having a CBR in it won’t be as much of an issue, but it’s still more likely get snagged on stuff.

Initial lip piercings will heal better with appropriately fitted flatback labret barbells because they won’t be whacked around so much like a CBR would be.

As far as your teeth go, it’s a very real risk that any lip piercing can cause significant damage to oral tissue. You can greatly reduce/avoid enamel and tissue erosion by wearing snug fitting jewelry.
I tell my clients to come back for their first downsize after piercing within two weeks. This helps to collect that bit of extra length that will be risked snagging on teeth and wearing at gum tissue.
Second downsize after a month or two once it’s completely healed up.

I personally don’t think that CBRs are great for new lip piercings at all. Heal it with a flatback and switch it later once it’s healed up.

Everyone’s going to have a different opinion on what kind of piercings feel better.
A Prince Albert is going to be much less invasive for a first-time genital piercing. Your husband will be out of commission for a bit longer after an apadravya as well.

The other option you could try would be to buy a “realistic” silicone toy and pierce it accordingly. I’ve done this for clients in the past who are concerned about their partner not appreciating the feel of jewelry inside their body cavities. It’s not the exact same thing, but it may give you a bit of a better idea.

Read some experiences on BME, put the word out and make an informed decision. Good luck!
